Battery temperature sensor for use with Max Charge or ARS5 regulators or with Duo Charge

 

The use of a battery temperature allows the regulator to adjust the charge to keep it below the gassing voltage of the battery.  In addition it fulfils a valuable safety function by preventing overheating in the event of battery failure.

 

The semiconductor temperature sensor is designed to bolt on to the negative terminal of the battery and comes with a 20 ft wire which can be extended or shortened by the user as necessary.
