Blue Sea System #7650 "Add a Battery" system is designed to automate charging of two battery banks while still keeping one bank in reserve for engine starting. The dual circuit battery switch keeps the two banks completely seperate except when put in the emergency combine position. The ACR is an automatic combiner which links them together when either bank is receiving a charge. The entire easy to install package means that you dont need to remember to move switches when charging but you will still have a start battery in reserve when you need it.

Simple way to add a second battery

This is a simple way to add a second battery for small and medium boats. With this system the start and house battery banks are kept completely separate but both get charged when the engine is running. You cannot accidentally run down your start battery but you can in an emergency combine both banks to give an extra boost for starting.
