This is a replacement for the standard Perko battery switch found in many OEM installations. It features the same hole pattern as the Perko switch so it is easy to change it out. The terminals are larger (3/8") and better spaced apart to make it easier to wire. It can be flush mounted from the rear or surface mounted.
Do take a look however at the #7650 "add a battery" system which is a more modern way to wire twin battery installations with some considerable advantages over the standard battery selector switch.
