HD Series Heavy Duty Battery Switches
These HD Series switches offer the highest current ratings in the Blue Sea Systems range. The cranking rating for these switches is 2750 Amps, the voltage rating is 48 Volts. The Intermittent rating is up to 900 Amps depeiding on the model and the continuous rating varies by model between 500 and 600 Amps. The M12 tin plated copper studs accept M12 and 1/2" terminals and the studs are long enough to accept multiple conductors.
These switches can be surface or panel mounted and all are ignition protected making them suitable for use in the engine rooms of gasoline powered boats.
These Battery Switches are typically used for Heavy Duty applications on larger yachts or when larger battery cables are being used.
