These Blue Sea Systems "Surface Mount System" enclosures offer the opportunity to make a complete waterproof circuit breaker panel in a box. They accommodate flat rocker circuit breakers up to 50 Amps and come complete with a hinged transparent plexiglass waterproof cover that can be latched closed, opened to operate a breaker, or completely removed to facilitate installation. Model #3116 is supplied without any circuit breakers and can accommodate up to six circuits. It can be used for both AC and DC systems. The other models come with pre-installed ELCI main breakers in varying sizes, and they offer the opportunity to add some additional circuit breakers for branch circuits. The ELCI enclosures meet the requirements of ABYC E-11 if installed within 10 feet of a shore power intake. All of the enclosures meet the requirements of IP66 giving protection against powerful water jets. The ELCI panels include a selection of waterproof cable glands ready to install, for the blank #3116 enclosure these are offered as an optional extra.
