Detailed Description
The BatteryProtect disconnects the battery from non essential loads before it is completely discharged (which would damage the battery) or before it has insufficient power left to crank the engine.
This could be used in the supply to a DC refrigerator on a charter boat. If the battery was allowed to run down it would disconnect the fridge before damage was done to the battery.
