AT or XT Series Alternators

The Balmar AT Series alternators have the output of a large case alternator in the case size of a small case alternator. This is achieved due to some innovative stator technology.  Because of their power these alternators require Double V-Belts or a Serpentine Belt.  They are suitable for use as replacements to existing small case regulators when used in conjunction with Balmar's Serpentine Conversion Kits.  They come in single foot and dual foot mounts, 12 and 24 volts, and with outputs up to 200 Amps.  All require external regulation and because of the high field current requirements of this design the MC614-H regulator is recommended. The use of temperature sensors for the alternator as well as the batteries it is charging is highly recommended.
