The Volvo MD2030 engine takes an alternator with a single 2" foot such as the
Balmar 621-120-J10
Engine installations vary, and the pulley kits can be used with lots of different alternators. Because of this the belts provided in the pulley kit only work about 80% of the time. If you get an alternator bigger than 170 amps the belts will almost certainly be too short. We have made it as easy as possible to swap out the belts.
You can purchase belts at this link.
There is a dropdown box for length. The belts that come in this kit are 33" circumference. The marking on them should be J330 which stands for 33.0" Remember that if you get other belts that the belt goes out and back so a 1" change in belt length moves the alternator by approx. 1/2".
Once you have your new belts you can set up a return to send the other ones back against the second order, it wont matter that you are not returning the exact same belts, as long as they haven't been used. Make sure you are logged in to your account when you place the order, then you will be able to set up the return yourself
