This compact meter monitors DC voltage on a bright, waterproof, daylight readable OLED screen. Its compact size enables mounting in any convenient location. This could easily fit on the dashboard of any center console or open boat, in the dashboard of a car, beside the captains bunk, in the engine room, on the engine control panel, or anywhere you want a bright, easy to read, compact, accurate voltmeter.

Tech Tip

The display is not really bright enough to be easily readable in bright sunlight.

Q: I have two batteries on sailboat. Do I need two of these voltmeters? I have a switch that allows Battery 1, Battery 2, and Both.

A: You can wire this with a switch so it can read more than one battery. Be aware though that there will be an approx 1-2 second delay each time you flip the switch for the device to boot up, display the Blue Sea logo, and then display the voltage.

Q: I have a sailboat with 10 single circuit breaker panel,and no volt- or ammeter gauges, and two 12v batteries with separate 2 battery switch. Would I need a shunt to go between the battery switch and the panel?

Q: What size is the unit and how does it mount

A: This fits in the same 1 1/8" hole you would use for a cigarette lighter or USB socket. If you look closely you will see the product listing has a dimensioned drawing that shows you more details. The meter is held in place by a knurled nut at the back so in order to install it you have to have access to the back of the panel to tighten up the nut.
