Blue Sea Systems 1821 Temperature Sensor for use with M2 OLED Temperature Monitor p/n 1841 This is a high temperature sensor and is used for sensing raw water exhaust without drilling holes. The sensor attaches to the outside of the exhaust hose.
Designed for sensing Raw Water Exhaust without drilling holes. Strap sensor to the outside of the pipe for accurate readings of Raw Water Exhaust temperature.
Multiple mounting options
Non-submersible IP65 – protected against jets of water
Wires connect in either order
Works will all Blue Sea Systems products that require a temperature sensor.
Temperature range -40 deg F to +300 Deg F

does it mount after the sea water mixes with the exhaust ? what are the ohm values so I can see if it will workon my existing temp gague

A:
Designed for sensing Raw Water Exhaust without drilling holes. Strap sensor to the outside of the pipe for accurate readings of Raw Water Exhaust temperature.
This is designed for use with Blue Sea gauges and is not intended to work with products by other manufacturers. I dont know how this particular sensor works but it is quite likely to be a semiconductor and may not work by simple resistance.
