These are very small terminal blocks and are typically used for electronics interfacing such as NMEA and other data connections where their compact size allows a large number of connections in a small space. They take a connector with a #6 hole to match the screw size. Although they have a rating of 20 Amps and even have an AC voltage rating of 300 Volts they are too small and fiddly for most general purpose applications
