These are very small terminal blocks and are typically used for electronics interfacing such as NMEA and other data connections where their compact size allows a large number of connections in a small space. They take a connector with a #6 hole to match the screw size. Although they have a rating of 20 Amps and even have an AC voltage rating of 300 Volts they are too small and fiddly for most general purpose applications

Closed back design completely insulates power from the mounting surface

Each screw pair is 1 isolated circuit

Jumpers allow creation of common circuits

The 2710 cover shown below is not designed for this terminal block but works fine
