Blue Sea 5502100 Ignition Protected Class-T Fuse Block 225-400A Allows use of Class T fuses for high speed circuit protection of electronic equipment. Cover breakouts allow wire access in any direction.

New design allows the use of Class T fuses for fast acting circuit protection in areas where ignition protection is required.  Class-T fuses are particularly fast acting and have a high interrupt capacity.

  • For Class-T fuses from 225 Amps to 400 Amps
  • Max 160 Volts DC.
  • Four stud design provides ample access around connecting stud to install large cable lugs
  • Insulating cover satisfies ABYC/USCG insulation requirements 
  • Cover must be securely snapped in place to make the assembly ignition protected
  • Cover breakouts allow wire access in any direction 
  • Stud design ensures secure fuse mounting even with high heat 
  • Stainless steel studs provide resistance to corrosion and high torque 
  • One-piece stainless flange nuts ensure safe and secure connections UL 94-V0 base resists high heat

Tech Tip

Although the maximum fuse size this block takes is 400 Amps the recommended maximum operating current is 320 Amps for general use or 300 Amps if used in an engine space.  To be able to run at this maximum operating current the cable size required for continuous duty is 2 x 4/0 awg in an engine space. This is because the cable is required to help remove any heat buildup.
