Tech Tip
This Mini Battery Switch is suitable for smaller boats such as center consoles or runabouts. The rating of the switch is almost as high as the e-Series switches but its compact size makes it more suitable for smaller boats. To meet its full ratings this switch requires you to use 4/0 cables as they are used to conduct any heat generated in the switch. Using 4/0 cables with this switch makes it hard to install as they are stiff and require some wrestling. If you are planning on using 4/0 cables and have the room its definitely easier on the installer to use the larger eSeries switch.
Q:
I purchased a rv with two switches red on and off positions. How do you open the red case to replace the wire from the solar charger going to the battery? The wire has come loose from the fitting on the terminal with the nut attached. Telephone number is 310 944-5211. I live in LA Calif. Thank you.

The switch just pulls apart, you should be able to do it with your hands. The back comes off in one piece. Then each side face of the back has a removeable piece
