This device is used to disconnect loads before they run your battery flat. It is sometimes called a battery saver auto disconnect switch. The intention is to preserve your battery for essential uses and allow non essential uses to drop offline while there is still some life left in the battery. So for example you could wire the Engine, Bilge Pump, GPS and VHF so they kept working but connect non essential items like fridge and stereo through the Low Voltage Disconnect so they would drop out first. Your beer might get cold but its nice to know the bilge pump will still work. The drop out voltage is adjustable to suit your needs and there is an override switch included. Particularly useful for a vessel or vehicle with a single battery. More sophisticated systems can achieve this by using a separate starting battery and running other loads off the house battery but this is a good way for a vessel with a single battery to guarantee to be able to start the engine. This device can be mounted in a variety of ways, see the mounting photo for details.
Remote Control Switch functions:
Override - Temporarily delays circuit disconnect for 10 minutes OFF- Temporarily disconnects circuits until voltage rises Override or OFF - Silences alarm (optional alarm required)
