This meter is used in many of the Blue Sea panels but it has lots of stand alone applications including solar chargers, RV's and any small DC systems of 12-24 volts with up to 100 Amps current

A:
This comes with a shunt which can be used on the positive side of the circuit. Since it will be a large block of exposed metal connected to the positive side of the circuit you might like to get some protection for it to avoid unfortunate accidents if you drop a wrench on it. Note that the connections to the meter require small fuses since they will also be positive. See the instructions for full details.
