Q: I would like to know if this selector could be used to disconnect my solar array from my charge controller? Then when connected the DC voltage through the switch would be 24 and the maximum amperage would be 65. Thank you. Herb Cargill

Q: Does the 9001e have a warranty?

A: This is from the Blue Sea website:

"Blue Sea Systems stands behind its products for as long as you own them. Blue Sea Systems will replace or issue a credit for any of its products found to be defective in materials or manufacture. P12 Battery Chargers and P12 Remote Displays are warranted for a period of five years from the date of first purchase. Digital Meters and Vessel System Monitors are warranted for a period of three years from the date of first purchase. No compensation will be allowed for products not returned to Blue Sea Systems for analysis, nor will compensation be made for labor required to replace any defective product. Please contact Customer Service for an RMA number prior to shipping any product back to Blue Sea Systems."

A: Its rated to IP66. You can read all about IP Ratings in my blog but here is the summary for this item:

First Digit - Dust Protection
6 = Completely sealed

Second Digit - Water Protection
6 = Protection from powerful jets of water
