Batteries (Lithium Ion)
Lithium batteries dont like to be charged at low temperatures. The latest version of the Victron Connect App has a firmware update for Victron Smart Lithium Ion batteries that allows you to set their low temperature "allow to charge" parameters. To get started make sure you have the latest version of the Victron Connect App by updating in in the iTunes or Android store, the update should include the Firmware v1.15 update. All you have to do then is connect your device to the battery by Bluetooth and follow the prompts, the updating screen will look like this:
Once you have completed the update you will be able to set the low temperature charge settings in the screen shown below. When the battery temperature gets below the preset level it will communicate with the BMS which will shut off the charge sources. Here is a screenshot of the settings:
