This classic racing yawl was designed by Sparkman and Stephens and launched in 1949. Commissioned by Henry B Nevin it held the record for the Newport to Bermuda race for many years.
The electrical system was completely replaced by Peter Kennedy Yacht Services in its first major refit in the early 1990's. The picture of the deckhouse shows the Bass Custom Circuit Breaker Panel in the lower left.
Peter Kennedy has been in business since 1991 designing, installing and servicing marine electrical systems. The purpose of this blog is to offer support to both professional installers and do-it-yourself boat owners who wish to undertake this work themselves.
