This is an isolated DC-DC converter intended for power conditioning. Its gives a constant output, isolating the loads from power fluctuations. The nominal input and output voltage is 12 volts but the actual input can vary between 8 and 17 volts. The output is constant and can be adjusted between 10 and 15 volts

Output voltage 10-15 Volts DC (user adjustable with a potentiometer)

Peter, just a comment. The image of the product on the buy page says this is the 12-12 model, but the output is shown as 20-30V, so something is wrong in the image. The datasheet is right. Just thought you would want to know. I probably need one of these for some lightweight 12v loads.
