The 24 volt alternators come in two variations of what is essentially the same alternator. The 4 kW model is optimized for low rpm but with a lower max output of 4kW. The 7kW model doesn't do as well at low rpm but has a higher max output when its going fast. Take your pick, most people opt for the 4 kW model because they want to maximize output at low rpm. All the Arco alternators have a 17mm shaft and come with a K6 pulley. It is possible to replace the pulley if needed but it must be purchased separately. See our video on how to replace the pulley.
