We often get asked what tank senders work with the Cerbo.  In the marine market companies like VDO, Vetus, Kus,  are suppliers of tank senders.  The Cerbo itself can accommodate only resistive tank senders. There are two ranges, European and American, and the Cerbo can accommodate both.  Marine tanks usually come with a 2" port pre-drilled to accommodate a float sensor.  A float goes up and down in the tank, changes the resistance of the sender and that gets recorded by the Cerbo and translated in how full the tank is.   In Vans and RV's the tanks are not usually pre-drilled and it is pretty hard to drill your own accurately enough to not leak.  One alternative is a pressure sensor type of sensor such as those made by the Australian company Safiery.   This connects to a port lower down on the tank and measures pressure.  The output signal can be configured to work with the Cerbo.  Safiery are a major distributor of Victron equipment  in Australia and their website will tell you how to do it.    Another options is the add-on to the Cerbo GX which is the GX Tank 140. This allows you to use current or voltage based senders
