This Lynx Battery Management System is for the New Generation of Victron Smart Lithium Batteries.
Part of the modular Lynx distribution system, the Lynx Smart BMS is a dedicated Battery Management System for Victron Lithium Smart Batteries. It is part of the Lynx Distribution System It uses M10 (10mm) terminals so any other Lynx device you connect to it must also have M10 terminals. Ultimately all Lynx devices will have the same 10mm terminals but we are temporarily stuck with multiple versions. The New Generation batteries, when used in conjunction with the New Generation BMS, have an improved digital data connection between the batteries and the BMS allowing the BMS to see voltage at cell level. When connected to a Cerbo GX this makes that information available on the VRM remote management software.
