This is a 5 meter communication cable that goes between a Balmar shunt and it meter or from one display to another. It comes with one end terminal fully assembled and the other end partially assembled to facilitate threading the cable through holes and wireways,

Q:
Is there some way I could purchase (4) pins so that I can easily shorten the cable after having used the original 4 pins and crimped them? --(I suppose I could reuse them by simply soldering the wire to the pins, but I think that would normally not be recommended.) Also what are these connectors actually called so I can search for a replacement? "SmartLink Deutsch-style connector kit, with a connector and wedgelock to complete the SmartLink cable" Thanks Rick
