Victron NG Batteries

These New Generation batteries have more advanced communications available between the battery and the BMS allowing cell level data to be transmitted to the system and to the VRM.  This enhanced communication also means that more batteries can be used in a system. The maximum number of batteries that can be used increases from 20 to 50 and so the maximum capacity of a 48 volt bank will increase to  384 KWhrs.  Other upgraded features for these batteries include a built-in shunt to measure current, mounting brackets, an improved IP rating, and a lower self discharge rate.
