This 48-PSP-6354 kit has now been modified so it works with older as well as newer engines. The crank pulley between the older and newer models was a bit different but the kit has been re-engineered to fit both.

Perkins/Sabre Engines Covered: 6.354
Kit Includes: Three Ten-Groove (J10) Pulleys, Two J10, 55" Circumference Serpentine Belts (one spare) & Mounting Hardware
Note: If you specify an AT-200A Alternator, a longer belt length may be required

Why wont this on a 6.354.4?

A:
I believe it’s the bolt pattern on the water pump pulley. The 6.354 has a three hole pattern and the 6.3544 has a 4 hole pattern.

I have a Perkins T6.354.4 Range 4 diesel engine. I see in the Q/A that this kit will not work with the 6.354.4 because the water pump pulley bolt pattern. Is it possible for the buyer to modify the bolt pattern? Is that the only reason it is not compatible? Thank you
