This kit includes an XT-250 variant for the new Yanmar Common Rail Engines The radial B+ post on the standard XT-250 interferes with the heat exchanger manifold on Common Rail engines, so Balmar have introduced this version with an axial post.  It comes with a special version of the K6 pulley to fit the spacing requirements of these engines

  • Special modification of standard 250 amp alternator for use with Yanmar Common Rail engine
  • Kit includes MC-618-H regulator and two temp sensors
  • Advanced braided stator
  • Cooler running dual fan cooling
  • Superior low RPM performance
  • USCG Title 33, ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 ignition protected certifications
  • Requires a Max Charge regulator for full performance
  • Includes a "Smart Ready" backup internal regulator for emergency use
  • Case ground only - isolated ground currently not available
  • Power take off 6.0 HP
  • May require a longer adjustment arm and longer belts
  • For non-adjustable tachometers a Tachometer Signal Stabilizer will be required
