Using the Victron ASUS N-14 WiFi Extender with the Cerbo GX

The Victron Energy BPP900200300 CCGX Long Range WiFi Module (ASUS USB-N14) is a plug and play WiFi extender for the Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX, as well as for the older Color Control GX, and Venus GX communication centers.  In the case of the Color Control GX and Venus GX it adds WiFi Connectivity.  In the case of the Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX it replaces the existing WiFi with a longer range version.  

We found installing and using this to device to be totally seamless, plug and play experience.  There is no need to read the instructions or to install the drivers that come on a CD.  The drivers are already built into the Victron devices.  Once we plugged it into the USB port of the Cerbo GX the blue light on the Asus module lit up.  The only change we were able to see on the Cerbo was that the number of WiFi networks in range increased considerably.  Once we connect to a WiFi network the blue light on the Asus started to flash.
